Sculptural cast aluminum lamp by Nicolas de Waël for Fondica, 1990s.
An object designer and painter born in Reims in 1970, Nicolas de Waël trained at the École de la Chambre syndicale de la bijouterie and in fashion design in Paris. He worked with several French manufacturers on lighting, ceramics, glassware and jewelry, including Fondica in the 1990s and 2000s.
