A Greek painter, sculptor and lithographer born in Athens in 1935, Alekos Fassianos studied lithography at the Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1960 to 1963. His work mixes Greek mythology, Byzantine art and scenes of everyday life, in a style without shadow or perspective, dominated by blue.
