Pitcher B from Claude Dumas's Abécédaire series, created in 1986. It is the fifth of the twenty-six forms in the series.
Ceramicist, sculptor and designer born in 1955, Claude Dumas has headed the ceramic sculpture department at the Beaux-Arts de Paris since 2002. In the Abécédaire series, designed in the 1980s, each letter of the alphabet becomes a form referring to a period or movement in art history.
Glazed ceramic in a rust colour, matt finish.
